PEACE aims to help bridge the critical gap in care during early pregnancy
A UPenn Medicine women’s healthcare company approached our agency to build a new website to introduce its revolutionary vision for women’s healthcare to the world. Their team developed a flexible, evidence-based model for PEACE (Pregnancy Early Access Center) clinics that help bridge the critical care gap during early pregnancy. They established that they needed a website that would visually and through its messaging communicate the problem — the lack of care available to women within the first 8 weeks of pregnancy when most complications arise, including miscarriage, and the financial burden it places on our system — the solution, which is PEACE clinics, and a guide to help others start their clinics and join their mission to transform the standard of early pregnancy care.

What were the unique challenges of this project, and how were they solved?
The goal for PEACE was for people to use their guide to set up a clinic. They needed an educative and empowering website to inform and inspire people working in this field to see the gap in care and start a clinic to help bridge the void so that women no longer have to suffer through early pregnancy complications like lonely miscarriages or emergency room visits.
The robust guide, the depth of information for the user, and the website’s overall design solved these challenges. The website features interactive graphics that allow users to engage with the site seamlessly and get all the information they need. The messaging and graphics not only inform but also inspire, with a focus on ensuring women receive the help and support they need in the first few weeks of pregnancy.
Who was responsible for the project?
Our team of experts at Ladybugz Interactive Agency partnered with PEACE to understand their vision and bring it to life. Our writers raised awareness of the problem and its solution to help clinicians and organizations set up PEACE clinics. The team had many collaborative meetings with PEACE, discussing and implementing many ideas.
One idea that stood out was the story from a podcast PEACE’s leading doctor created. This occurred during our meeting, and the message was so powerful that it was used on the About Page. It included the full podcast’s audio and the transcription in an excerpt. This elevated the About Page because it included a real-life patient story with true emotion and struggle, closing in on the need for PEACE.
What were the results of the women’s healthcare website project?
The result of the project was a custom WordPress website with a beautiful design, messaging, and information that clearly states the problem, solution, and action steps for clinicians and organizations. Our design and content team created an optimistic and bright palette. These complemented images and videos to convey a sense of care for women in the early stages of pregnancy. The imagery and graphics also convey a sense of hope, aligning with PEACE’s mission. PEACE aims to ensure women receive the help and support they need within the first few weeks of pregnancy.

Although it presents itself concisely and minimally, it contains extensive, valuable information for clinicians and organizations.
